LafargeHolcim officially appointed Jaime Hill Tinoco as the new chief executive officer of Holcim Mexico. He previously held the role of CEO at Holcim Colombia. With his appointment, Holcim Mexico will strengthen its operations and consolidate its leadership in key segments of the construction industry.
Hill Tinoco will strengthen the company’s position with a focus on growth in four key segments – Cement, Aggregates, Concrete and Solutions – with value-added products. As part of the Strategy 2022 – “Building for Growth,” processes to improve performance will be simplified, under a shared vision of innovation, talent and sustainable development.
“I am honored to assume this responsibility because Mexico is a key country for LafargeHolcim. In the 2022 strategy, we will implement a simpler and results-oriented operating model, in order to be closer to our customers. This will involve investments in projects that allow us to continue generating value,” said Hill Tinoco.
Hill Tinoco holds a degree in business administration from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He joined LafargeHolcim in El Salvador in 1996, where he began a career in marketing and sales. He was appointed commercial director in 2004, and then held the same position in Colombia. In 2015, Hill Tinoco transitioned to the role of CEO at Holcim Colombia.
